Well. I did it again. I started an idea,and lily pad thought processed my way through a year or so, Shame on me. I still do independent contracting, mostly general transcription. We are also in the process of moving from Florida, back to Maryland. Am not thrilled, and could make excuses or point fingers to the government for their lack of properly running the country, but that's not going to do any good. Jobs are relocated, we have a home to go back to, and that's a mixed blessing, folks.
My daughter's friend has a brother who recently got married. On a hot July evening in Northeast Florida, they allowed me to photograph their small family ceremony. It was quaint and full of love. I volunteered to do what i could with what pictures i had taken, to make them special for them. I used actions and templates from online sources, they are not my own. But they sure made these photos special.
Am waiting on permission to publish my creations from the bride. Will do so when she contacts me back after looking over the first batch of edits.
In other news.....
The girlchild will now be a Junior in High School. Hard to believe. It seems like yesterday that she was walking away from me for the first time, with a little basket in her hands while walking on a beach looking for shells that would catch her eye.
We are trying online schooling. It's tuition free while we live here in Florida. When we get back to Maryland, that's a different story. Maryland has to be difficult and charges tuition for the same course that girlchild will be taking here for free. However, the move is inevitable. Am hoping to find a part time job so i can pay that tuition, even though we already pay taxes for that identical online high school education. *sigh*
If you've ever had a child in school in Maryland, you would understand. We are tired of the sub-culture rendering itself as part of our child. We also don't tolerate some of the boundary missing behavior in the area. We notice that the most in young people in that area. We aren't better than anyone else, we just want our kid to be herself, not a vigilante. LoL.
More later. Things to do today. More photos to edit. Am having too much fun with this. Wish i could turn it in to a part time buisness. I know the perfect business partner, too. Hmmm.
